Color & Palette Extractor (Python Plugin for Krita)
Extractinator
“Give me your hue, your saturation, and your lightness.” – T-800
This script allows you to extract a color palette from an image. It's a lightweight, fully Krita-integrated solution designed to simplify your workflow. The alpha slider lets you filter out transparent pixels as needed. You can also copy and paste hex codes, remove unwanted color blocks (such as a solid background), and export your new palette!
This script adds a new docker to the Krita's menu
Usage
Select a picture:
- Adjust the alpha threshold (by default, transparent pixels are ignored — hover over the tooltip for guidance)
and/or - Remove any unwanted color blocks
and/or - Pick your favorite colors and enjoy
and/or - Export your palette (.kpl, .gpl)
